Perhaps we might sometimes think that the world would be better off if in some way everyone was like us, but imagine that everyone in the whole world was literally your duplicate. What's the first thing to come into your mind? Even if everything would go much more your way, it would get very boring. Of course after some time your duplicates would all distinguish themselves in some way, like identical twins, but none of us by ourselves can embody the whole spectrum of life. We can try, but we will only get so far: there is no end to the variety of human experiences.
