Looping Thoughts
As long as something we want or need to get done isn't, it'll keep looping through our mind and keep us from fully focusing on something else. Therefore it's no excuse for procrastination that we "can just as well do it later," for the longer we wait, the more time we spend with it, so that it does actually make a difference when we do it. Everything we finish doing makes room in our minds for inspiration for new things. When everything we've procrastinated doing has been done, an emptiness settles into our minds that can be filled with new things, even if it's just peace. Till then our minds aren't free.
