Zero and infinity. Those are our limits: there are none. The full spectrum of experiences is open to us. But it only begs the question: now what? What do you choose? What will you do with that freedom now you've claimed it? That's why infinitarianism is not a final answer, but a question, a beginning rather than an end: and that's why I cannot see how it could ever be turned into a dogma, any more than existentialism. Have you ever heard any infighting under the rallying cry of existentialism? Any word that has more than three syllables doesn't process in the simple minds of conformists.
