Transgressiveness is not a weakness to temptation but a transcendence of good and evil. This is why industrial music sometimes has surprisingly transcendental themes: surprising, because it is juxtaposed with the profane, things otherwise never associated with what has traditionally been religious and Zoroastrian.
Alexander Wesselsky, the lead singer of Eisbrecher and formerly Megaherz, is one of the best examples of this: his every songs expresses a need for escape, release, liberation, sometimes sexually (Freisturz, Verruckt, Heilig, Herzdieb, Zeichen der Venus) and sometimes spiritually (Wie Tief, Entlassen, Licht am Ende der Welt, Zu Den Sternen, Kinder der Nacht, Freiflug), sometimes both (Mehr Licht).
